Dorex GX1B and GX1L series heavy-duty locksets and GX1A series heavy-duty deadbolts are recommended by door hardware specialists for high traffic commercial doors. Dorex brand products are recognized for value while delivering lasting performance and security.

SPECIFICATION:

All bored locks shall be Dorex GX1B or GX1L series. Locks shall meet the requirements of ANSI A156.2 series 4000, Grade 1. All GX1 series locksets shall be adjustable for 1 3/8” (35mm) to 2” (51mm) door thickness. Locks shall fit standard 2 1/8” (55mm) cross bore (161 door prep). Latch bolt shall have standard 2 3/4” (70mm) backset, optional 2 3/8” (60mm), 3 3/4” (95mm), 5” (127mm) with 1/2” (13mm) latch throw, and all locks shall have a 3 hour cULus listing for use on fire doors. Locks shall be non-handed and supplied with all necessary mounting fasteners. Small format interchangeable core (IC) model available, 6 or 7-pin tumbler cylinders available separately.

AUXILIARY LOCKS:

All bored deadlocks shall be Dorex GX1A series. Locks shall meet the requirements of ANSI A156.5, Grade 1. Locks shall be adjustable for 1 3/8” (35mm) to 2” (51mm) door thickness, but are capable of being installed on a 2 1/4” (57mm) thick door, using the longer spindle and screws kit (optional). Locks shall fi t standard 2 1/8” (55mm) cross bore (160 or 161 door prep), have standard 2 3/4” (70mm) backset with 1” (25mm) bolt throw and a 3 hour cULus listing for use on fi re doors. Locks shall have 6 pin solid brass cylinders with pick resistant pin and anti-drill ball bearings inserted. Locks shall be reversible and supplied with all necessary mounting fasteners. Small format interchangeable core (IC) model available.

KEYING:
