CAUTION: Do not keep keys in the safe

          OPENING THE SAFE FOR THE FIRST TIME

To open the safe for the first time, remove the small plastic cover (a) (see diagram 1) on the front panel, insert the key into the lock and turn it counter-clockwise, at the same tiime, tuen the knob clockwise and open the door.

          INSTALLING THE BATTERIES

The safe requires 4 X size "AA" *(1.5V) batteries. Remove the the small plastic cover (on the back of the safe door) and install the batteries into the compartment. Ensuring  the batteries are fitted  with the correct corresponding polarity. The display will scan the status of the electronic lock system automatically. If it is in order, the display (C)(see diagram 1) will show "good".

Use of alkaline are recommended.

          OPENING THE SAFE AFTER INSTALLING THE BATTERIES

To open the safe, press the 'START'(d) (see diagram 1), the display on the panel will show '--------', then input one of two sets of Factory-preset codes: 0,0,0,0 (user code) or 8,8,8,8 (master code) immediatly and confirm by pressing the button 'START'. You will hear a musical sound with the display showing 'OPEN' and open the safe using the knob within approximately 4 seconds.
